Simiyu hosts International Women’s day nationally on 8th March, 2020, NMB Bank has supported the celebrations by providing assistance worth 26 Million shillings.
NMB Western Zone Manager Sospeter Magesse provided donation of five million shillings with T-shirts worth 21million shillings.
The Regional Administration Secretary was honored to receive the support given by the Bank and explained that it will decorum the celebrations.
Sagini said NMB has been only main supporter of development within Simiyu region in series of two years has been sponsoring National Nane Nane Day held within the region
He said the Region is thankful to the Managing Director of the bank as he has never hesitated to help whenever they present their requests.
Sagini elaborated that, “We understand NMB has participated in different development activities in our region in Nane Nane Day where as in this year It will be held for the third time,NMB has been participating in sponsoring every year”
He also added that, all the preparations are completed and the guest of honor will be Honorable Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
Western Zone Manager provided 1800 T-shirts before handling over the donation which will be worn by all the participants together with sum of five million shillings to help in completing the preparations.
Magesse said NMB Bank will continue to be main participant in development of Simiyu region and emphasized women to make use of the small loan opportunities offered by the bank.
