Arusha Regional commissioner Mrisho Gambo has confirmed 27 people associated with the first victim of Coronavirus were tested negative.
RC Gambo in his Instagram page posted that no more reported cases in Arusha and they want to declare Arusha as COVID-19 free region
soon.
“27 contacts associated with the first victim of Coronavirus were tested NEGATIVE. No more reported cases in Arusha and we will declare Arusha as CORONA free region soon” Gambo posted.
Mrisho Gambo has also added in his post that “I argue for to tourists
to postpone their trips instead of cancellation”
