Young African striker HARUNA Niyonzima, has said it was a must to win against Gwambina Fc so as to please their fans.
Niyonzima who scored the only goal for young Africans football club, has astonished his fans after scoring a goal that led his team to win the game.
Young Africans Fc won 1-0 over Gwambina Fc during their match at Uhuru stadium in competing a position to quarter final of Azam Sports Federation Cup.
According to Niyonzima Young African Football Club had no option over their opponents Gwambina Fc from Mwanza, instead they were in need to get good results.
“The only option we had was to win the game against our opponents regarding that in last four games we didn’t get good result” Niyonzima said.
The only goal scored by Niyonzima in the 45th minute of the match yesterday gave them an opportunity to join with other seven clubs in the quarter final of the Azam Sports Federation Cup.
Other teams that got the opportunity to quarter final include Simba Sc, Kagera Sugar,Ndanda, Namungo, Azam FC and Sahare all stars from Tanga.
